An informative review is a type of written work that provides a detailed and objective overview of a specific topic or issue. It is designed to inform the reader about the main points, arguments, and evidence related to the topic, and to provide a balanced and unbiased assessment of the subject matter.

The topic I chose was Designer Babies, the reason I chose this topic was due to the rich conversation we had in class about cloning and its ethical and scientific implications on society. For me, was a very interesting and extensive topic to discuss and research, and I personally wanted to learn more about the subject. Also being a prospective biology major made me want to learn more about the topic.

the revision process for this project was more difficult than the others, mainly due to the genre conventions of an informative review. My first draft of this assignment was not great because I shared to much of my personal stance and opinion on the topic, which was pointed out by both peers and the professor. I was able to correct the final project by follow the genre conventions and relying on the facts and information form the research papers I acquired for the project and tried not to shares my opinions on the topic within the article.
