“Engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond”

• This Course Learning Objective is most obvious in the final project which was a multimodal awareness project. We creating a presentation, virtual flier, pamphlets, and a blog post about a topic of our choosing. Each media type has its own genre conventions which I needed to adhere to successfully complete the project. Writing so many different types of media helped me understand the differences between the genres but also improved my writing skills as a whole because I needed to explain the same topic but in different ways through different mediums and their genre conventions
